Developers revitalize Sho-Me Baseball Camp

REEDS SPRING, Mo. (KY3) – Plans are underway for the revitalization of the historic Sho-Me Baseball Camp in Reeds Spring.
Ballparks of America owner Paul Satterwhite purchased the camp. Satterwhite hopes to preserve the history of the property for a new generation of players.
“Sho-Me Baseball Camp was open in 1958 so it has a lot of history to it,” said Sho-Me site director Jordan Yates. “There’s been a lot of baseball players and even some Hall of Famers that came out to the camp.”

Ballparks of America Celebrates 2022 Opening Day
BRANSON, Missouri – Baseball season is ramping up and will officially begin in Branson, MO on March 26th with Opening Day at Ballparks of America. This spring, more than 300 teams will visit the facility, located on 1000 Pat Nash Drive, to compete in local and regional tournaments.

Investors to Revitalize Historic Sho-Me Baseball Camp Facility
BRANSON, Missouri – Sho-Me Baseball Camp has been acquired by a group of Springfield, Missouri-based investors, led by Ballparks of America investor Paul Satterwhite, to revitalize a once vibrant lakeshore location. The historic baseball camp, located off DD Highway on the shores of Table Rock Lake, traces its beginnings back to 1958. The camp will be rebranded and operated by Ballparks of America under the management of Sports Facilities Management.
